Taking all the precautions, OKOndt GROUP resumed training and educational seminars at the customer’s site. 3-7 August, our specialists were on a business trip to Turkey — they carried out the training for Bursa Ray company’s staff on how to use the double rail ultrasonic flaw detector UDS2-73 that is intended for ultrasonic rail testing.
2019 became for OKOndt GROUP™ a record-setting year in terms of the RFQs and inquiries received from the Asia-Pacific Region. When working with prospective customers from China, Mongolia, Singapore, South Korea, especially at the point of establishing business leads, the need for brochures, presentations, products description arises, which would be maximum convenient for the majority of representatives of the Region. The decision to launch a website in the Chinese language was taken, and www.okondt.cn has been recently added to the vast network of OKOndt’s online resources.
Eurasia Rail is the third largest exhibition of the railway transport, equipment and services in the world. The forum was held for the eighth time at the Culturepark Fair Ground, Izmir, Turkey where229 companies arranged their booths. As for the attendance, the event counted to 12 thousand visitors.
Italian company IMG Ultrasuoni Srl have recently purchased from OKOndt GROUP™ the ultrasonic rail tester USD2-77, intended for one rail line testing. The equipment purchase contract also stipulated the clause on the training course provision at the customer’s site. The trip had been planned for the end of November 2019.
Annual Conference and Exhibition hosted by the American Society For Nondestructive Testing (ASNT Annual Conference) is a premier international event which traditionally attracts thousands of NDT representatives from all over the world. OKOndt GROUP™ is a permanent attendee of the ASNT exhibitions, this year the specialists from our group of companies arrived to the USA to take part in this forum for the sixth time. ASNT-2019 took place in Las Vegas; in order to allocate numerous exhibits two stages were assigned: the Pavilions and the Paradise Event Center where our booth was located. The Conference was held on November 18-20.

September 22-24, 2019 the Railway Interchange-2019 – a traditional conference and exhibition dedicated to the railroad transport took place in the United States of America. It is the largest forum of the railroad sector in North America.
During the period between January and March 2019, the experts of OKOndt GROUP™ visited Poland for several times where they held a range of presentations and tests of the UDS2-77 equipment.
At the beginning of 2019, the Turkish State Railway (TCDD) ordered the eddy current single rail line eight-channel flaw detector from OKOndt GROUP™.
From October 16, 2018 to October 18, 2018 the town of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg), Poland, traditionally housed the Conference on Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics called KKBN-2018. The event gathered under one roof hundreds of specialists operating in the field of NDT equipment manufacture and sales. PCB Service, the Polish partner of OKOndt GROUP™, kindly invited the latter to join the conference as well.
