KMT-176 M2 Set of the Ultrasonic Plane-Parallel Thickness Standards (KUSOT-180) is designed for certification and primary checking of the contact ultrasonic thickness gauges at the manufacturing site with the thickness range of 0.6-300 mm in steel and 1-300 mm in duraluminum, as well as for the periodic verification of these thickness gauges.

    • Δ = ± 0.7 % within the range of 0.6-5.0 mm

    • Δ = ± 0.3 % within the range of 12.0-300.0 mm.
  • net thickness range in D16T aluminum at ultrasonic waves velocity of 6300 ± 30 m/s is from 1.0 to 300.0 mm,
    • Δ = ± 0.7 % within the range of 1.0-5.0 mm
    • Δ = ± 0.4 % within the range of 6.0-10.0 mm

Physical values are generated in the UISU-01 type system for the ultrasound velocity measurement, an ultrasound velocity meter with the linear and angular measurement standard instrumentation.
