UniMAG-01 magnetizer

UniMAG-01 Purpose

UniMAG-01 magnetizer is intended for detection of surface and subsurface cracks of all types, voids, incomplete fusion, in structures made from ferromagnetic materials.

UniMAG-01 flaw detector can be applied if it is impossible to use electromagnets, when electric energy input is difficult to perform or is restricted by safety rules (during execution of altitude works, during operation in field conditions, during testing of tanks, boilers inner surface quality) at ambient temperature from minus 30°С to + 50°С and relative humidity up to 95% at the temperature of 35°С.

The instrument is made in the form of two permanent magnets of different poles situated in cylindrical plastic cases which are connected by flexible magnetic conductor. It is intended for testing of hard-to-get-to sections and angle welded joints.

Flaw detector provides high detectability of surface and subsurface discontinuities, cracks of all types, fine cracks, incomplete fusions and so on in accordance with GОSТ 21105-87.
